What's new at videoCREW / VISIONSOUND FILMS: Winter/Spring 2013: videoCREW / VISIONSOUND FILMS has been directing, producing, writing and shooting a wide range of projects over the last several months.
For Johnny Rockets Restaurants, VISIONSOUND provided all creative production services for this fun look into the world of this international 50s-style restaurant chain. It was a fun project and especially gratifying to hear how much the entire crew enjoyed themselves during the filming.
VISIONSOUND FILMS just completed production on a large DRTV infomerical for Italian brand Super Sweeper. Featuring two amiable hosts and a fun-loving family, the spot showcased several head-to-head competitions and a family of four who enjoyed the many benefits of this handy cordless vacuum.
Other projects included Sprouts Farmers Markets, Zetonna Allergy, Toyota, Boresha Coffe, Boost Mobile, Virgin Wireless, Sony, Current TV, PETCO, Johnson & Johnson, Constant Contact, Dollar General, and Verizon.
Summer 2012 -The first half of 2012 turned out to be very busy with corporate videos, documentaries, commercials and public relations projects. The year kicked off with a major advertising firm asking us to provide complete production services on several politcal commercials for the upcoming 2012 U.S. elections. videoCREW supplied the entire crew, location scouting, permit services, staging, grip and lighting, props, craft and camera support. | The County of Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services called on videoCREW to produce a film to help caregivers of adopted African American children understand the psychology and methods of hair care. | videoCREW has a long history of interviewing Hollywood celebrities. Recently, videoCREW interviewed Helen Mirren ("The Queen") at her home where she shared her experience working with Fionnula Flanagan, a well-known Irish actress being honored with a lifetime achievement award by The Irish Film & Television Academy. | Once again, UCLA called on the VISIONSOUND to create a film for the UCLA School of Law. | For NIVEA's National PDA Day, videoCREW once again interviewed R&B artist Ne-Yo, along with Wendy Williams, and Bill and Giuliana Rancic. The star-studded event encouraged couples to show affection for one another on this special day. | Documentary filmmaking continues to fill our slate. For Channel 4 UK, videoCREW provided complete documentary field production services, including line producing, DoP, gaffer, sound, cameras and grip/lighting. The film, Elizabeth Taylor: Auction of a Lifetime, included interviews with Joan Collins, Mickey Rooney and Michael York.
